A Scarsdale chimney company built around careful work
Chimney Services Pro is based in Scarsdale, and our work is shaped by the houses here: Tudor Revival and colonial homes from the 1910s through the 1930s, stone and brick chimneys with several flues, slate roofs, and heating systems that have changed several times over the life of the house. These are homes people have put years into, and the people who own them notice a scuffed floor or a mismatched mortar joint.
So we work the way a good finish carpenter does. Floors and furnishings are protected before anything else happens. Tools and debris stay on drop cloths. Masonry repairs are matched in strength, color and texture to what is already there, and decorative details are photographed before they come down so they go back exactly as they were. When the job is done, the room should look the way it did when we arrived.

How we make recommendations
A chimney is hard for a homeowner to see, which puts a responsibility on whoever is looking at it. Our rule is simple: every recommendation comes with the evidence behind it. That means photos of the crown and flashing, camera footage of the flue when the inside needs examining, and a written explanation of what each finding means and how urgent it is. You get a written estimate before any repair starts, and if a chimney needs nothing this year, we say so.
Our work follows recognized industry standards: NFPA 211 for inspection levels and chimney construction, CSIA guidance for cleaning, UL 1777 listings for stainless steel liners, and manufacturer instructions for every appliance we connect. When an old fireplace would be better served by an EPA-certified appliance, we explain the tradeoffs rather than pushing a sale. Start with a chimney inspection if you are not sure where your chimney stands.
Where we work in lower Westchester
Our home base is the village of Scarsdale, from Fox Meadow and Greenacres to Heathcote and Quaker Ridge. From there we cover the surrounding towns of lower Westchester County: White Plains, Hartsdale, Edgemont, Eastchester and Tuckahoe, Bronxville, New Rochelle, Larchmont and Mamaroneck. Each has its own housing stock, from the hillside homes of Bronxville's Lawrence Park to shoreline houses on Long Island Sound, and we keep notes on each one on our service areas page.
When you are ready to book, contact our Scarsdale office with a short description of the chimney and what you have noticed, and we will suggest the right kind of visit.
