One chimney company for the whole system
A chimney in a Scarsdale house is rarely just a fireplace flue. A single stack may carry a living-room fireplace, a library fireplace and the flue for an oil or gas boiler, all through a slate roof and a century of weather. Our chimney services cover each part of that system, and most visits start with a chimney sweep and cleaning combined with an inspection so we can tell you what the rest of the chimney needs.
From there, work falls into a few groups. Flue safety covers inspections and stainless steel relining for boilers and fireplaces. Water control covers leak repair, waterproofing, caps and crowns. Masonry covers tuckpointing and rebuilding with matched brick and stone. Fireplace work covers dampers, firebrick and smoke problems, and dryer vent cleaning rounds out the list. Every repair comes with a written estimate first.
